The driving head is 2 inches wide and has a groove over 1/2 inch deep with rivets spaced 1 & 1/4 inch apart to keep the staple from sliding out the sides. It weighs 2.5 lbs, and it’s nicely balanced so that it’s just the right weight to drive a staple.
